Portraits:
* Portraits are painted in either Acrylic or Artisan Water-mixable Oils on portrait-grade canvas.
* Portraits are painted by photograph. An exact photo is preferred.
* All procedures will be explained during the initial consultation which is free of charge. If client lives in close proximity, a consultation in person is preferred.
* Completion time depends on size and detail, yet most can be finished within 3-4 weeks from the Begin Date. Due to demand, there may be a waiting list, so please consider this if desiring a completed work by a certain date.
*Price is based off of size, complexity, & medium. Included within this rate are materials and supplies, business expenses, and labor. A deposit of half the negotiated price and a signed contract is required for work to begin.
* Shipping and Handling is an added expense. If the client lives within a few hours' drive, Allison may be willing to travel to deliver in person.

Typical Sizes and Prices
- The typical size for a one or two person portrait is 20” x 24” and falls somewhere in the $500-$1200 range, usually around $750 and is approximately 20-30 hours of work.
- Life-sized and Larger portraits fall within the $1000-$5000 range, depending on whether the subject is standing or sitting, and what background elements are involved. Large canvases often must be handmade which adds to the expense.
- Family portraits are best estimated at about $500 per head.
- Smaller Portraits of pets are typically within the $350-$750 range, approximately 10-15 hours of work.
Landscapes, Thematic & Abstract Work:
* Larger commissioned pieces (like the size of a large screen TV) are created in Acrylic and typically are around $800-$1400 depending on detail & complexity. The commissioned "Cypress Swamp" example is 3' x 5' & was approximately $1200 including the $150 canvas.

Smaller commissioned pieces (around 16" x 20") may only take a few hours to complete. They typically start around $200 and go up in price with added detail & complexity.
